How to create a list in frame maker document using one paragraph style?

Community Beginner ,

Hello all,

I am working on Framemaker Version: 17.0.5.725. unstructured.

One of the document includes about 900 plus headings. Now, I want to create a list out of it (900 plus headings) in the same document. Do we have any option for creating such a list and also number it (I donot want a separate/mini TOC).

Thanks in advance.

How about creating a List of References, selecting the heading style?

@Jeff_Coatsworth is right. The List of References will be a separate document, but you can import it into your main document as a text inset.

For clarity, I think @Jeff_Coatsworth  was thinking about a List of Elements and Paragraphs as shown below.

The List of References is great for other things, but (unless my coffee hasn't kicked in yet) I don't think the LOR would collect your heading style as you described it.

Same effect you get in the Eastern time zone when you haven't had enough caffeine and don't have FM open to check your "top of the head" suggestion... 🤣

Out of curiosity, why won't the MiniTOC suffice for your list?

Did you try the LOP or mini-TOC ideas?

Both likely solve your problem, but without detail it is hard to tell which would be preferable. Perhaps you could take a few minutes to create a lorem ipsum example instead of the yellow box.
