Image borders and anchored frames

Hello,
I have a problem whit images (EPS) imported by illustrator.

First things I did:
- import the EPS image in the framemaker document
- move the anchored frame border, rescale the image and move the image to fit it inside the borders

This was almost OK, but the symbol of the image anchor is still displayed (green object in following image:

This symbol is not printed but causes the image to slip down, and I want it to be aligned to other objects at the beginning of the paragraph.

In order to erase this symbol, I used the ESC+m+p command, who has 2 effects:
- positive effect: the symbol disappears
- negative effect: I have to rescale the anchored frame. The image has different attributes and sometimes is taller or wider than the anchored frame, causing the text who follows to slip down.

NOTE: this is not due to the limits of the anchored frame: if I expand the anchored frame (following figure) you can see that the problem is due to the image borders (limits).

Now, what should I do?
resize the image on illustrator? we tried to do so, using files-document properties-size (it doesn't work, nothing changes)
cut the image in illustrator? we tried to do so , but we didn't succeeded,
cut the image on framemaker?
Is it possible, but how?
help...

I'm not entirely clear what you're trying to do, but I think you're
unhappy with the positioning of the anchored frame. You want it at the
top of the page (maybe?), and right now it's showing up below the return
you anchored it in.

First off, you can't get rid of the return, or at least, you may be able
to delete that return, but since it's an *anchored* frame, the anchor
must reside somewhere in text, so the anchor is going to show up in some
paragraph, somewhere. It doesn't have to be an empty return; the anchor
can show up right in the middle of a paragraph of text, but it has to
show up in the text stream somewhere.

Esc mp shrink wraps the anchored frame. That is, it sizes the anchored
frame to the same size as the contents of the anchored frame. It doesn't
delete returns.

If you want the anchored frame to show up somewhere other than below the
return, select the anchored frame and go to Special > Anchored Frame and
change the Anchoring Position. If you want it at the top of the page,
try At Top of Column.

In the screencaps you posted, I see a line at the bottom of the anchored
frame. This line is Frame's very unhelpful way of telling you that
something isn't fitting. You'll see this with a *text* frame (not the
anchored frame) that contains more text than can fit and isn't threaded
to another text frame. I suspect that your anchored frame contains a
text frame that contains a single return in which you've got an anchored
frame that contains your EPS image. That's a lot of stuff inside stuff.

You may want to 1) Ctrl-click the EPS image to select it; 2) Copy; 3)
Click the border of the anchored frame to select it; 4) Edit > Select
All in Frame; 5) Delete; 6) Click the border of the anchored frame again
to select it; 7) Paste. This will copy the EPS image only, delete
everything from the anchored frame, and paste the EPS image back into
the anchored frame. Now you'll have only an image inside a frame.
