I updated some book chapters in FM 9. Just text deletions, and some text color changes. Suddently updating the book throws up this error:
What's going on here?
Thanks,

Numbering Properties (NPs) exist in each book component (.fm) file.
They also exist for each book component in the .book file.
These are apparently separate data structures, and can get out of sync.
If you always set the NPs from the book menu, it's never your fault.
However, there are circumstances in which Frame itself causes the problem.
I don't know what did it in your case. In my case, it's usually Error 7103 crashes in one of the book body files. Usually after such a crash, the NPs are thrown out of sync for all the files after that in the book.
How this happens is a mystery, but it's easy to fix. Just re-declare the NPs for each book component in the book file. Or just ignore the alert.
