Update #2: Problem solved. I expected to find it in a dropdown menu of a dropdown menu, but it was in the main dropdown menu. Not sure why it disappeared, but I found it again. Thanks all.
Update: I fixed the "Find" menu problem. It was under the "Edit" menu. But the Object Format menu is totally MIA.
HELP!
Suddenly for NO REASON that I can discern (I have NOT messed with my menus AT ALL) The Object Format menu is completely gone from my menus on the right, and there is no option for it in the toolbars or panels menus.
Nor is it under the "Graphics" menu:
Behold. They no longer exist. This is really messing me up. I need those menus. There is an "Object Properties" menu, but it doesn't do what I need to do. I want to edit the actual object, not create an object style. This doesn't let me adjust the size by percentage or edit an object in any way, it only lets me create a style.
I don't want to create a style. I want to format an individual object, and that menu disappered.
Furthermore, this problem exists across ALL documents I open. I can't refer back to another document and do File-Import-Format to resolve this. I've even tried restarting my computer.
I'm pretty sure Adobe builds in bugs to force users to consult people who want to be paid for their time.
When you answer, please do not reference programming/coding. I am a simple technical writer who creates graphics and text. I know nothing about coding. Thank you.

Those of us helping you are all volunteers. We just have the knowledge, time and inclination to help other users who are struggling with the software.
You do see Object Properties in your second screenshot, right?
That's the only place to find that dialog box. The first screenshot is showing the available toolbars, which is the name of the button grou

And exiting out & coming back into FM doesn't have any impact? What about resetting your Workspace inside FM?

Tried that. Didn't solve the problem.

If I reset my workspace, won't it take it back to default and get rid of all my styles?

The Workspace only relates to your screen layout, e.g. open pods, docked windows, etc. Anything content-related to the document/book you have open, e.g. styles, etc, will still be in tact. I sometimes accidentally undock/move a pod and just reset my Workspace because I couldn't be bothered fixing it manually :-).

Do you mean Graphics > Object Style Designer or Graphics > Object Style Catalog?

Sorry, I called it "Object Format" and it's actually called "Object Properties," and, magically, it appeared. Thank you.

Here's the good news: without programming, FrameMaker menus can't be customized so commands don't move themselves around. The bad news is we humans sometimes don't see what is right in front of us. It happens to everyone. Personally, I use a lot of Post-Its when I'm learning a new software application. My goal is to learn what is on the Post-It before the glue dries up and it falls off. If I can't, I just make new one and try again.
And I hope your take-away is that we are always happy to help and asking us questions on the Community Forums is always free. 😊

Hi Barb,
Thank you for the advice about Post It notes. I will do that. I'll write the location for all of the menus I use down and tape it up on my cubicle wall.
I don't generally mind if people get into the programming side of things when I am searching in the forums for answers to my questions, but when I've asked questions, I've had people answer my questions with information about coding in various programming languages and its WAY over my head. And then sub-conversations come from the programming conversations and I can't make head or tails of it.
I do know you are all volunteers and I REALLY appreciate all of you. Though I have had some of the experts here offer to walk me through the issue and then tell me their hourly rate. There was a guy who walked me through an issue for free, and I really appreciated that.
I just wanted to be clear that I have no knowledge of coding so no one wastes their time assuming I understand it. I'm learning that many FrameMaker experts are also programmers!
Thanks again, Barb. I will commence with the Post Its!

Hi Susan!
I'm not a programmer either, so those answers are way over my head, too. 😊
But I will point out that there are scripting solutions to ease/automate various workflows within FrameMaker, and @frameexpert is the one to reach out to if that need ever arises. He does the hard work so we can just click to work magic.
