Problem When Pasting PowerPoint Drawings into FrameMaker 8.0 Docs

When pasting drawings into our docs from PowerPoint, writers in my group are discovering that the bottom of the drawings are often being cut off for some inexplicable reason. And it's not that the entire image isn't being captured when copied from PowerPoint. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

We're running FrameMaker 8.0 and PowerPoint 2007 on Windows XP Professional.

    Mike,

Thanks for your answer. But before implementing your suggested fix, I decided to take a closer look at the files in question to rule out any obvious miscues. What I discovered is that the writers (both relatively new to FrameMaker) were running the image frames outside of the frame for the page, thus causing the images to cutoff. The images printed properly when we fixed that issue. So, luckily it wasn't any more complicated than that.

But thanks again for your informative response.

    Rick,

How are you pasting your ppt drawing? As objects or graphics. I must
admit, the I prefer to export graphics to eps or tiff or print to pdf
    and then import by reference.
