Is there actually a paragraph in the main text flow tagged with Paragrah Style “ChapterNumber”, so that the Running H/F 1 variable can pull it?

Running H/F variables scan the text flow for a paragraph tagged with the style defined in the variable and then display the paranum and/or content of the first ibstance found.

If there is no paragraph like this, the variable has nothing to pull from and will therefore remain empty.
