Second line of bullet is not aligning with first line.

I have a bullet indent (First) set at .8 and the text alignment (Left) set at 1.05.  When the text wraps from the first line of the bullet, the second line wraps a fraction more left than the first line of text.  Color me dumb, but settings work everywhere else, so what could be this issue.  Note that the first row indent does have the text overlapping the > symbol, and it's the only tag (Bullet 1) in my book where this overlap of the > character occurs.

Thanks LinSims.  Tab setting are fine. Neither was the issue.  It was Numbering in the Paragraph Designer.  I found there was a space here (B: \t\t) in the Numbering.

Are you using a tab setting to set the spacing between the bullet and the start of text on the first line?

If so, then check the tab setting and make sure it is the same as the Left Indent of 1.05.

Edited to add: This is why you are better off using tab settings for this, since it guarantees that the first line and all subsequent lines start at the same place.

If not, then the problem is probably that you are using a proportional space font and however you inserted the gap between the bullet and the text is a bit wider than where the Left Indent wraps to.

Ok, as I said before, that issue was fixed.  Now I have a new one.  I have a Numbered tag set to Indent .25, Left .55 and a teb stop at .55.  When I turn on VIEW> TEXT SYMBOLS, the tab overlaps the first letter in the text.  None of my other numbered or bulleted tags do this.  I checked NUMBERING and it was fine.

When the symbols just overlap, when you turn on the text symbols, this is OK. FrameMaker's symbols do not change the positions of the single characters.

Or is there a change? How does this look like, when you create a PDF?

Looks fine in PDF.  Just carot overlaps first character.  Have always been able to fix this to some attributable error on my part. Doesn't occur in second and third level bullets. If say is normal, and I see no attributable cause, I can live with it. Just annoying.
