Table and Figure numbering

Is it possible in a single file document to have section related numbering for Tag=bles and FIgures?

I need to number a document with label such as the following:

Table x.y where x is related to the Header1 tag and x is sequential to the figures or tables within that section.

The section numbering function appears to only work for multifile books

In your H1, set the numbering property to something like:

P:<n+> < > < >

In the FigureTitle numbering property, try:

P:<n>.<n+> < >

And in the Table Title numbering, try:

P:<n> < >.<n+>

Darn Framemaker and its use of phantom numbering placeholders.
