I am adding some new pages/charts to a manual and I can't seem to get the TOC to update. Suggestions?

So what exactly and how are you doing the update to the TOC?  Is there new content that should be showing? Does this content use the same paratags as already in the existing TOC? Is the TOC part of a book or a stand-alone?

The more information that you can provide, the less guessing has to go on.

New content should be showing in the TOC. This is an unstructured document, so no paratags (?), and the TOC is part of a book.

I have been trying to find a way to find a way to make the body headings (Heading1aac, Heading2aac, etc.) have a TOC suffix, but no luck so far.

What "tag" should I use?

Thank you for your reply.

In the Book file, right-click on the TOC and select the Setup Table of Contents... option. Then add the required paratags from the list on the right to the left side.

Then update the book as the final step to add the content specified by the tags that you added to the TOC. You may need to format using the Paragraph Designer the new paratags in the TOC.
