Track Edit Changes don't accept

Not being overly familiar with the Track Edit Change feature, I'm trying to accept the changes in multiple documents. The text is green and underlined and I've tried using both the Track Edit Text toolbar and through the Special/Track Edit Text pulldown menu. The changes never get applied, any idea on what I'm missing?

We need to know what specific FM version and update level you're using (from Help > About, the "pxxx" numbers) and on what O/S, because the track changes capability changed substantially between versions.

The visual appearance alone does not qualify. Can you move from change to change using the appropriate buttons on the toolbar? If not, your piece of text is formatted to look like a change but it is not a change in FrameMaker’s perception.
