yellow highlight of index words in HTML5?

I have  a book with an extensive index which is being published as html5. The index works fine in HTML5, but I get no highlight of the chosen index words when I click them in the published output. Making it pretty cumbersome to figure out where exactly the source of the index word actually is on the page.

Is there a solution for this?

Are you getting highlighting when you search for a term?

Yes, Search does give yellow highlights.

Hmm, so much for that idea - I was thinking the control for turning the search highlights on/off was linked to the index hits.

One would expect they were. I can't remember whether there are SUPPOSED to be highlighted index words, though.?

Me neither - I just checked one of my FM to RH projects and the index links just jump straight to the topic where the marker was placed.
