I would like my HTML default landing page to be the first page of the first chapter - how can I change it. I looked at the options in the dropdown menu and it's just a list of certain types of files. Can I enter a specific page?

I think you can't.

HTML5 is not PDF: There is no page sequence - "every page is page one" so you cannot define "start with page 3 or topic 3" or something like that (there is browse sequence option but that's something different).

Urthie2011 I think DieterGust is correct - the FM Publishing settings interface doesn't give you the same control you'd get if your content went through RoboHelp - in there you can change the default starting page via the Responsive HTML5 layout (on the Content tab).
