Apple Pencil Pro iin Fresco, very disappointing!!

Below is a video of my very disappointing experience with brand new iPad Pro M4 and brand new Apple Pencil Pro in Fresco. I was using a 10 year old iPad pro and Gen 1 pencil previously with no problems. 

I'm using the most recent version of Fresco. iPad and Apple Pencil are fully charged, and the pencil is in constant contact with the screen. Sometimes it draws, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it just leaves a dot instead of a line. It happens with vector, live and pixel brushes. 

I've played with settings like draw with Apple Pencil only with no success as well as different settings for each brush.. This issue does not happen in any other program, for example, in Apple Notes or Notability there are no issues like this at all. 

What else can I look into? Is the Apple Pencil Pro just not compatible with Fresco? Should I go to Procreate instead? So disappointing to get a new toy (ahem, work tool!!) and not be able to use it.
