Question

Fresco freezes with imported brushes, cannot use fresco with imported brushes, brushes disappear

  1. Fresco 5.0.1
  2. Ipad air 3, iOS 17.1
  3. Imported brushes get imported but freezes the app after a single stroke of any of the imported brushes. Brushes are also not stored when reopening the app although they are visible in my asset libraries.
  4. Expected result and actual result - imported brushes working as they should and being visible afrer reopening of the app

I am paid subscription that I cannot use because the app doesn't work as it should. I started having this problem recently. Not sure if it because iOS 17+ or Fresco 5+. What seems to help is reinstalling the app. Newly imported brushes won't crash the app hovewer when you close the app, reopen you will not find your brushes there anymire and if you import and try to paint the app freezes. Whole app is useless because of it.

I also tried deleting my libraries without reinstalling but that didn't help.

I just had this issue. I imported brushes into Fresco, it froze, then crashed and all of my brushes are gone, wiping out my favorites. I would have rather lost the art I was working on, it's going to take me longer to install and go through all those brushes again. And at least one set isn't even available anymore.

Having the same issue exactly. So annoying!

I am also experiencing this and it is driving me absolutely crazy.

I hope adobe can resolve this otherwise I'm tempted to move back to procreate and eventually procreate dreams once it's available at the end of this month.

Such a bummer because I've bought brushes specifically for this app. I reported the bug multiple times but have yet to get a reply on my service ticket.

Adobe, please resolve!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Looks like I am not the only one having this issue. Is this aknowledged by Adobe? I seen other post like these without any help or update. I assume the users just stopped using Fresco and moved on but I would like to know if there is anyone looking into this.
