Fresco - iPad slowdown

Hiya

ive recently switched to Fresco and was happily drawing away, just a line drawing of a landscape at A3. Then suddenly the programme stopped me from drawing anymore, I can't switch layers of anything. Like it's crashing. 

I've tried killing the app but the same thing happens. Can the files become too large? I've hardly drawn anything compared to Sketch so far.
