Manga Brushes: Is it a bug or a feature?

HI everyone,

 

is anyone accustomed with the use of Manga brushes in Fresco?

I am using Fresco on a Surface Pro 7 /Windows 11.

 

Now, recently, I wondered, if the Manga Brushes might be interesting for me for drawing, instead of the Pixel Brushes Pens.

What I encountered with the Manga Brushes, that they use the function "adjust to shape" - even if I have switched off this function in the settings of Fresco.

Now, my question is, is this a special feature in the Manga Brushes to adjust to shape? Is there a way to switch it off?

 

Thanks for any help. In the meantime, I will return to my raw pencil in the Pixel Brushes.
