Shape tool problem in Fresco

Hi all!!

I've been having this problem multiple times and can't figure out how to fix it. So when I first use the shape tool (circle an rectangle) I can change the size and move it around no problem. But when I hide it and then bring it back it wont let me change the shape I can only move it around (the frame around the shape with the little dots that you use to change the shape and rotate won't appear) . I've closed and open back again the document thinking that would work but nothing, I've also open closed fresco again thinking that would fix it too but still nothing can't change shape only move it around. I'll attach a video so that what I'm saying is clearer. I draw with the pixel brush by the way (idk if that changes anything) and I use fresco on desktop. 

Any advice is welcome!!! (it's driving me crazy haha)
