Transition between Photoshop and Fresco

Hello all, I am learning how to use Photoshop and Fresco.  Until recently I have been able to successfully transition back and forth between the two in either direction.  Running full version of Photoshop on my Mac and Fresco on my Ipad - synching through CC.  Now I am getting a very unhelpful message that says "unexpected error occured" when moving from Fresco to Photoshop and nothing else.  Any tips on how to solve this?  Your help would be much appreciated.

Have either of the apps had an update?
Perhaps one has and the other one needs to be updated for them to sync properly again.
