Transition from Sketch to Fresco: No timelapse on imported work, only new

I understand Adobe Sketch is approaching end of life, and users shoud transition to Adobe Fresco. I did that on my iPad Pro, but was disapointed to see that I cannot export timelapses of previous work that was imported. New work that I've done natively in Fresco can export as timelapse. I also notice there is no history on imported work, which likely is the metadata Adobe uses to create timelapse.

Is this an oversight, or expected?

I can, for what it's worth, still open older content in Adobe Sketch, and export timelapses from there.

Since you can still export timelapses from Sketch I would suggest doing that and transitioning to using Fresco for any new artwork.

It's likely that the apps have different backend setups so that would explain why the timelapse doesn't come across.
