Adobe application Manager in Launchpad

New Here ,
Jan 20, 2017 Jan 20, 2017

Hey Guys,

So I have tried and tested Photoshop and Elements. After deinstallation I can still see a Folder in my Launchpad called Adobe Application Manager (others) which is completely empty.

But, I can't delete them. Holding the mouse until the icons vibrate and the delete via "x" or dragging to trash can won't work.

Anybody here who can help me out? It is very annoying.

Thanks

Adobe Application Manager is required mainly to manage installed Standalone Adobe applications for processes  like activation , updates ...etc

Go  to Applications > Utilities .

Under Utilities check whether Adobe Application Manager folder  is listed and contains required necessary files??

Adobe Application Manager (other) empty folder icon on Launchpad.

I have been having trouble with deleting that stupid folder icon on my launchpad and nothing works.
I even deleted a lot of folder and app containing the name of Adobe application..from deleting in the user files, application folders, and utilities. seriously nothing works.
Finally, it's removed something super simple I found online which you don't have to do so much.

This answer 100% worked for me!

  • Take a random app
  • Make it wobble (as if deleting it)
  • Drag and drop into folder you're trying to delete
  • Then click into folder you just dropped the app into
  • Remove the app from the folder
  • Folder will automatically delete
