Adobe Portfolio Help

New Here ,
Sep 30, 2019 Sep 30, 2019

I have a gallery of cover photos that link to my individual pages in Adobe Portfolio. I am trying to get the page titles to appear over the cover photos when you rollover each of them. So far, I am only able to put a gray box over the image on rollover but would really love the page title to appear on rollover, too.

 PLEASE HELP!!

See Lukas demo.

If it doesn't have the options you want, try a different layout theme.

I am moving this question from forum Community Help to Get Started.  To answer yout question, it depends on which layout Theme you are using.  There are 12 themes to choose from.  https://portfolio.adobe.com/themes    Some themes like ROSE, have  interactive cover images with rollover text.  Others like SAWDUST have static covers with text below the image.

I have another question on the Adobe Portfolio.  I can't figure out how to change the background color for the navigation of my Adobe website portfolio, can this be done?

I think It depends which Theme you use and if your theme supports that option.

https://portfolio.adobe.com/themes

The theme I use, Sawdust, has left-sided vertical navigation but does not provide any options for changing that background.   Themes that have navigation in the masthead or header are more likely to have that option.

Hello Community,

I am in need of some help with my Adobe website Portfolio.  The editor is super slick, but I can't figure out how to change the background color of my navigation, can it be done?  I am also not sure what template I am using, how to find out?  It just has a white background for the pages and navigation.

I already answered this in your other post so déjà vu all over again.

It depends on which Theme you use and if your theme supports that option.   Navigation in the masthead or header is more likely to have that option.  Here is a list of Portfolio Themes.   Your Theme is the one with the grayed out button.

Hey Nancy,

Yeah, Deja vu, sorry about that I just never used the community to post before.  I like your kitty avatar, nice.  I appreciate your responding like this.  My theme is Thomas, does that support different navigation background colors?  Oh, also, if I switch the theme will the content stay, but just switch the layout, or do I have to re-write the content?

Please reply to your other thread. More than likely a mod will come by and lock this one.

Although that was added onto another discussion.

I don't know if the Thomas theme supports background colors in the header.  I've never tried it.  You'll have to experiment on your own.   Changing Themes changes the CSS styles but not the HTML content.
