AfterEffects stuck on "cancelling" status

I tried to download After Effects a while ago with a slow connection but I had to leave the area (and put my laptop to Sleep) before it could begin downloading (it was on Waiting). When I opened Creative Cloud again, After Effects was stuck like this and even after quitting and restarting, nothing's changed. Any tips that don't have to do with uninstalling (because my connection isn't the best and I'm afraid of losing data if I have to reinstall) Creative Cloud? Thanks!
