I keep getting Error Code 146 when updating Creative Cloud. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit ESU. I've tried to install the program from scratch and the version that supports 32 bit is the same as the version I have now. But when installed it tells me there is an update available which goes to 99% and then fails with Error Code 146. I believe it is trying it install a 64 bit version which is why it fails. Please advise.

Thanks but I've been to that page many, many times.  I definitely have the latest version which is the latest 32 bit version and that it is saying I have an update in error.  Software does not seem to  realize I'm on a 32 bit system.

Have you checked all possible solutions that are included on the page?

If yes and nothing helps  I would suggest a complete and clean reinstallation.

Please follow the steps below:

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Thanks.  Appreciate the guidence, but the fact is that my hardware is not supported by the latest Creative Cloud release.  As I said, I've only got Win7-ESU 32 bit and the updated creative cloud requires Win10 64bit.  When I try to manually install the update, I get this notice. Clipboard01.png

I already have the latest update for my operating system and it works fine except that it keeps offering me an update that is not appropriate for my hardware.  The problem is not on my end, it's a bug in the old version of Creative Cloud that keeps offering an update.  The error message is a complete red herring and is based on the expected behavior of the old Creative Cloud desktop app.  So any fix needs to come from Adobe.  Trust me, there is nothing at all wrong with my installation.
