CS5.5 Product code does not work

Hi, I bought CS5.5 Production Premium in 2013 and tried to install it on my new computer and ran into an issue. Not only are there not enough digits with my product code to fill out the entire serial number slot, but the program doesn't even accept letters, which my product code starts with. Was there a change in how this works? Or is the product code different from the serial number? I searched through the box and didn't find anything else in there.

That is a redemption code, which you should have used to get a serial number as soon as you bought the program

- page has links to programs to find an installed serial number in Mac or Windows

- includes link to your Adobe account to check for registered serial numbers

- when you find your serial number(s) write them down and put in a desk drawer

Okay, I checked through my old email and dug up the serial code they originally gave me, but it isn't long enough to fit. It's four digits short. Was there a formatting change of some sort?

Nevermind, the serial code I was sent via email was 4 digits short, but after checking my registration with the website, I found the full serial number with all included digits. Thank you for the assistance.

i am tryinhg to install adoble CS 5 student edition on a new computer.with windows 10 and it's not accepting the product code.

You need a serial number, not a product code

6 groups of 4 numbers... no letters
