Can anyone help

Perpetually licensed software does not use passwords.
All you need is:
1. original installation disks,
2. a valid, matching serial number,
3. an older operating system that supports outdated CS5.
Note 1: Creative Suite cannot be used with Catalina. Catalina ended support for 32-bit apps.
Note 2: Creative Suite installers won't work on Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without workarounds. And there is no guarantee outdated software will work on a modern OS for which it was never designe

There isn't a password for old software. Do you mean you get asked for a password when you try to reinstall from the CD? Or do you mean a serial number? (DO NOT POST THE SERIAL NUMBER!) Warning, scammers may contact you privately pretending to be Adobe staff. Adobe will never send you a private message asking you to email an account that isn't @adobe.com, or use Skype. Adobe never ask you for their password. These scammers want your Adobe info, credit cards, your money and control of your computer, please take care.

Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away!

What the OP described is what I'm experiencing with an install of Adobe Audtion CS5 on Windows 11 machine. During installation or when choosing Help-->Product Registration, a prompt asks to create an Adobe account or to use an existing one. When entering a valid password for my existing Adobe account, I receive a fatal warning indicating that the password has to be between 6-12 characters and cannot contain spaces or colons.
I suppose a solution could be to change my strong password to meet these requirements so I may register the product, but then I may not be in compliance with Adobe.com's modern password requirements.

Product Registration is unnecessary. Your CS product support ended years ago.
Product Activation is essential. If you can't activate the product with a valid serial number, you can't use it.
Hope that helps.
