Hi,

I know how to use task manager. I actually ended every process that includes "adobe" in it. Still the same problem.

The 'Correct answer' provided isn't complete: it doesn't say which process to end. And many Adobe processes don't have the word 'Adobe' in their name...

I encountered the same problem. The solution is incomplete.

My guess is that whomever was providing the solution finally became frustrated, gave up, rebooted.

A cold, hard reboot frequently resolves a myriad of oddities.

Hard boot your device, wait for initialization, retry the Creative Cloud update.

The Windows process name is:  Adobe Application Manager (32-bit)

In Windows 10 task manager it appears on the [Processes] tab under the "Background processes" section.
