before you follow anyone's message, make sure you understand the difference between a subscription (which is the only offering from adobe for most of its programs) and a classic/perpetual license (with a serial number, which adobe offers for some of its programs).

if you have a perpetual license, do NOT follow messages 1 and 3.  if you have a subscription, do NOT follow message 2.

if you're not sure what you purchased, check your account, https://accounts.adobe.com

but from the info in your message

if you have a purchased program (eg, elements, acrobat):

Single user licensee downloadable installation files available:

Updates

  • Download and installation help for Adobe links

  • Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!

Hi, stephen,

You can also install them through the Creative Cloud Desktop App. If you click on the downward facing symbol next to the appropriate program, you will be able to select "Other Versions". You'll see the 2015 version is an option! Here are some screenshots to help you! Best of luck!

but from the info in your message, and the forum to which you posted, it seems likely to me you have a perpetual license.  if that's true and you follow messages 1 and 3 you will not install the version you purchased and will end up with additional problems to resolve.
