I have my serial number for Photoshop Elements 12, what do i do with it?

To my knowledge I have not installed anything (I looked in settings).  I purchase Photoshop Elements 12 sometime ago and my computer crashed and I was forced to buy a new one.  I have a disc.  However, my new HP does not have a disc drive.  I put all the required numbers in for the previous purchase and received a serial number then nothing happened and there were no instructions or a continue button.  I am NOT technically savvy  so I don't  know what to do.  I appreciate your response to my previous question.

I understand your concern, you had to purchase a new machine as the old one crashed and now would like to install your Photoshop Elements 12 on it, however your computer does not have a disk drive.

You may use the following link to download Photoshop Elements 12 : Download Photoshop Elements 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7 , after this follow the instructions given in the following link to install the product: Start the installer after downloading Adobe Acrobat X and Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5.

Also, plug-in CD drives are inexpensive and easy to use. If you have a lot of software on disk you may need one.

Yes, I am aware but I only have one disc and the rest I was able to download.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I do not text as I am a dinosaur and have a flip phone....:)
