I have been trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS4 onto my MacBook Pro (2009 version) and it doesn't automatically popup to install. So i transferred the files to my "Application" on my mac. When i try to click on "Setup" an unreadable script appears. What do I do?? How can i get this to download??

Please run the installer from the CS4 disc.  There is no auto play you will need to open the disc and double click on either Setup, Set-up, or Install.  I don't have the exact disc in front of me but it will be named one of those things.  During the install process the needed files will then be copied to your Applications folder and other required locations.

Hello,

I put it in, and the only Setup i could find on the disk was "setup.exe"

and it did not do anything. it just opened a page with a bunch of

unreadable symbols. I inserted the correct disk because the other disk just

has video tutorials regarding photoshop.

I don't know what to do.

Thanks for your time!

This indicates that you have a Windows version of the software.  This is why you are not able to install on your Macintosh.  Since Creative Suite 6 is the current version of the software you can either upgrade to Creative Suite 6, and choose the Mac platform, or possibly subscribe to the Creative Cloud which is multi-platform.  You can find more details on the Creative Cloud at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud.html.
