Install CS6 without CC

New Here ,
Nov 10, 2015 Nov 10, 2015

A while ago I did an update for CS6 via the application manager. I was surprised when it finished to find the creative cloud app lurking on the menu bar as i didn't recall seeing it on the update list.

I really don't want creative cloud on my machine. I purchased the independent CS6 before CC was available and that is the product I only want on my machine.

Since then I have done a clean install of my machine OS but before I install CS6 again, I want to make sure that CC is not installed.

Will it appear on the checkbox menu as I install everything else? Or will it force itself on to my machine again?

Thanks

Adobe Creative Cloud is noting but an updated version of Adobe Application Manager. If you wish you may remove it .

But it will be Ideal to have updated version of Adobe Application Manager.

You dont have to Sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud , simply Quit it and proceed with the installation of CS 6 separately. .

You may download CS 6 from below link :

Adobe Creative Cloud maybe an updated version of the Application Manager but it feels to me like a different program. It's not so much this that bothers me but the fact that it simply popped up one day as part of a regular update, I didn't feel like I was given enough warning to say that something new will be installing on my machine replacing something else, unlike the other updates.

John T Smith, thank you for this!

If you do not have the current Application Manager installed you will have to check for updates manually Product updates

Of course, since CS6 is 3+ years old and no longer being updated (except MAYBE some camera raw updates that will also work with the old Photoshop) you won't have to check very often
