Install stops at 43%

I'm trying to install a trial of Creative Cloud and Lightroom has stopped at 43%. I haven't changed anything, restarted, or have other things going on. I just want this download!

Help!!

See if the various inputs offered in the following posting help:

You can also try searching the forums for more of the same by using "42%" as the search term (for some reason 42 comes up a lot, 43 not as much if at all)

The progress stuck at 43% indicates that the process is unable to start  Installation process after Extraction .

May I know whether you had installed any Adobe applications other than Adobe Creative Cloud ?

Also , are you getting any error message or the progress simply stuck at 43% without any error ?

Note : Please mention Operating System and its version .

For Mac users:

Open finder, search for files which include "adobe" in a file name, and delate them all. Then try install again

I tried everything, including the 42% solutions listed here. The only thing that worked for me was to use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner:
