I own Adobe PhotoDelux Business Edition, also Photoshop  and a bunch Adobe others. Where can I get my PhotoDeluxe to work on Windows 7 - 32 Bit?

LIke the title of your posting says, old is simpler and better.  Chances are you will not be able to use older simpler better stuff on a new machine - I know I had to say goodbye to some of my favorites over the years.  If you are not able to get it installed using a compatibility mode, you are likrly going to need to retain an older machine for them.

Yes.Thanks.  I have a notebook that I retained Windows XP on, but there is always hope. I use an accounting package that is DOS, really DOS. It has never failed in 20 years. Think about this. Isn't accounting just black and white numbers? Um...like DOS. As I indicated: newer isn't always better.

Windows provides Compatibility Mode.  If a software runs successfully under Windows XP, then there is a chance that it may run in Windows XP Compatibility Mode on Windows 7.  (Unless it's 16-bit software; that is definitely no longer supported.)

Be Careful using Compatibility mode......I have photoshop 4, 5, 6, and 7 running on Windows 7 without it...it was not needed!! The only time I tried to use it I could not open a PDF in them due to the fact my Reader was too NEW.........I run Old software and with Windows 7 never had to use Compatibilty Mode
