My company developed a web system for one of our clients to demonstrate our product. The system runs on the client's "intranet".
The client access their system using Internet Explorer (IE), internally through their Intranet.
We would like to ask a question regarding license and terms on your application "SVG viewer" which you no longer support.
In order to view SVG files built in this system, the client have to install the SVG Viewer plug-in-software created by your company "Adobe".
We have some concerns about our client's use of this software, we understand that "SVG Viewer” plug-in is listed as freeware.
We have read your SVG viewer agreement, but are seeking a clearer understanding regarding licensing and terms.
We would like to know if there is a limit on the number of "SVG Viewer" copies that can be downloaded and installed on independent systems (workstations).
We understand these files can be viewed in any modern browsers but the client has not upgraded their browser at this time.
Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide in addressing our concerns.
Saml40247256 you can find details regarding the discontinuation of the SVG viewer at Adobe SVG Viewer download area | Adobe Developer Connection. I would recommend updating the images to a format which can be utilized on current web browsers. Dear Jeff,
Thank you for your response. Our reading of the information that you provided, is that Adobe is stating that it is legal for us to download and install SVG viewer on 50 of our clients' machine operating within their company. That we will not violate SVG Viewer license agreement by doing so.
Please let us know if this is correct.
Thank you!
