Wha a Pain in the Ass

I will be unistalling Photoshop CS5 from my desktop to install Photoshop CS6. I want to install CS5 on my laptop. Do I have to notify Adobe of the uninstall prior to installation of CS5 (it's an upgrade disk) on my laptop? And why is this such a pain in the ass to get any help?

It's not a pain in the rear, you're just overthinking and overcomplicating matters. All that matters is deactivation which the installer will offer during uninstall or you do it manually using Help --> Deactivate.
