XP Virtual Machine and Acrobat X

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 PC and I am running an XP SP3 x86 virtual machine to support a legacy program.

In Windows 7, I have Acrobat X Standard installed and it works great.

I need the ability to print to PDF from my legacy program in Windows XP.

It doesn't look (unless I am mistaken) like I can map to the Windows 7 PDF printer for XP as I don't have the 32-bit print driver.

The only solution I can think of at this point is to install a separate program in the virtual pc and use that.

I would prefer to use Acrobat for this.

If I install Acrobat X in XP will it cause a licensing issue?  My license is an upgrade, we had Acrobat 7 before.  Could I perhaps install Acrobat 7 in XP to get the print to PDF functionality without voiding our license?

I want to make sure we don't violate the license agreement but I also need to get a solution up and running quickly.

Thanks in advance

You are correct that you would want to install Acrobat within the virtual machine.  I do so myself for my XP and Windows 7 virtual machine.  As for licensing you are able to install an utilize Acrobat on up to two computers.  Your XP Virtual Machine would count as your second installation.
