P: Enable Full HDR Support on All Capable Devices, Including Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Crazy that we pave money for something that was made in the nineties that hasn't updated in years...

Even though there are free services on android.Now that offer hdr editing and pretty much all the features. I'm gonna switch soon.

As a company, you guys really suck for this.... 

You know there's a problem, and instead of doing anything about it, you take our hard earned subscription money, and pore it into more AI features..... 

 definitely ready to use a different service... for forty dollars a month, this is not worth it.

It's literally a joke, samsung photo editor offers almost all the features that lightroom does now... specific color editing, masking, aI editing.... it's almost as if lightroom wants me to switch to a different free service...

I have a beautiful HDR workflow that stops short at my phone (zflip 6). This would really be a great addition. 

And galaxy tab ultra! This is absolutely ridiculous! Crappy google pixel phones get hdr, but the most purchase phone brand on the planet doesn't??? Thinking about switching to a different photo Editing service, there's a bunch now that offer hdr editing on galaxy devices...

This has been a recurring problem for the past few years but every time a new Pixel comes out, Lightroom Mobile on Android lacks HDR editing support for the new model. HDR editing support eventually arrives, but only just before next year's models arrive and then the cycle repeats.

When will HDR support arrive for the Pixel 10 series? Is Adobe doing anything to deliver support closer to release day in the future (as I'm sure they do for new Apple devices)? Is this anything more than an allowlist keyed off of the device model?

There's not even a way to export an HDR photo that is usable on Instagram on the latest pixel 10 😞

@Aleke, there appears to be no change on the list of supported devices and the Pixel 7 range is 3 years old at this point. Are there any plans to include HDR support for newer Android devices?

Having the same issue with my S25 Ultra.  Unbelievable that Lightroom does not support phones with the most high end cameras.  Who is paying a monthly fee for the service who isn't shooting on high end consumer devices?  This needs to be fixed.  My native Samsung editor can read and tone map perfectly, both shots from my phone and those from my DSLRs.

I have a feeling this is so because the oled panels on the series/tab s9 series, etc. are 8-bit (16.7m colours) panels or at least permanently 8-bit mode only! I don't even know if they can simulate 10-bit colour (1.04bn) with FRC.

So true HDR on the s2_ series and tab S8/9/10 series is not possible if the displays are only able to reproduce 8-bit colour. I don't know what display technologies the pixel phones are using, though.
