2024 Illustrator (28.x) unresponsive after system sleep (Mac M2)

I know this is a very common problem, but asking (Adobe) again, is there any planned fix to Illustrator UI becoming unresponsive to clicks after an extended macOS system sleep?  Illustrator doesn't crash, and Force Quit menu does not show Illustrator as unresponsive, but the Illustrator UI doesn't respond to any clicks or key commands, so you have to force quit it (and lose work if you didn't save) to restart work after an extended system sleep.  It does not happen after a short sleep.

Anyhow, my M2 does it, five other colleagues at my work also regularly experiencing it (all Mac M-chips), and lots of Adobe + Reddit posts from similarly frustrated users.

Hello @ojak,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind sharing more details, like the macOS System Report (https://adobe.ly/3WV7uqD), exact workflow when encountering this problem, and links to Reddit, etc., so we can check it with the product team?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
