2025 Ilustrator update freezes and not window auto closes upon launch

PC, WIndows 11, program worked as of yesterday since the start of the 2025 release. No error messages. The app earlier today would lauch and freeze. Now the app opens and immediately the window closes on its own

Please tell us your system and hardware specifications.

Did you already reboot the system and reset the Illustrator preferences (this will delete all your settings.)?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I hope Monika's suggestions helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly try the following steps and check if they help:

 

 

Also, try reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and share your observations:

- Close all Adobe apps

- Uninstall all currently installed Microsoft Visual C Redistributable packages

- Install the latest Microsoft Visual C Redistributable package from here: (https://adobe.ly/40T4pLm)

- Relaunch Illustrator

( when i call customer support it has you do the hold music and then it hangs up on me. )
