3D Materials is repeating my shape.

I'm trying to make a quick 3D shelf for placement purposes but every time I try to build it, adjust the depth and stuff, it ends up doing this repeat pattern. Has anyone encountered this before?

    6.5" x 8" and 27.4

    This looks like a bug that was supposedly fixed in 27.3, but I can't trigger it myself in 27.5.

    Does it occur with other 3D effects, with other objects, or in a new file?
