4 up file- relink not working

Hi,

I created a 4 up file for bookmarks and need to relink the embedded image from last year with my new PDF for this years bookmark. When I go to relink the image from last year stays and this years just places over the top. My link picture in the links panel only shows my new PDF but the previous one is still there.

How do I remove the previous embedded link with my new one?

If last year's link was embedded, then it is no longer a link.

Ok. That’s what I was thinking... can I change that somehow?

Hi Ashley,

As mentioned above, its no longer a link. You need to unembed it first, please check out this tutorial for unembedding the image:  Unembed images in Illustrator
