9 slice problem

I made a mistake and I cant even figure out how to fix it.

Ai asked me about some 9 slice option and i dont know what i clicked all i know is that i clicked dont show again. Now something happened that makes files look awful. For example - ive downloaded an Ai file to edit but when i import it into the software it looks AWFUL, all smudged. Why? How can i fix it? What did this 9 slice something option do? 

Here is how bad it looks, how do i turn it off'?

The 9 slice scaling warning usually happens when opening older file and should not impact the display of your files. You can reset warning dialogs in the Preferences.

The file you don't like is an autotraced version of your image below.
