Accidentally closing Illustrator, file lost

I was working on something in adobe illustrator, and then I opened another illustrator file to have a look at it. And the I accidently closed boath files without saving it, is there anything I can do to get the files reopened? (I am jusing an Mac if thats any help)

    If you close a file deliberately then the system or software won't save it for you automatically.

    Hi Joanna,

    As informed by Monika, unfortunately the file is lost, if it was not saved. You may have to recreate it.
