I have had a subscription to Illustrator for many years and until recently I could also open PDFs with acrobat without a problem. Last year when I was writing my thesis I was trying to edit a document, I had a popup message that said I needed to use Acrobat Pro to open the document, and a free trial was offered and I signed up so I could complete my thesis. I now have a subscription which will cost me $56 to cancel. The worst thing is I now can't open any PDFs! Apparently, I have to upgrade my Acrobat account! Can anyone help, I have tried customer services 😞
