Action including an Image Trace

Question

Hello,

For some reason I can‘t include a custom preset image trace in an action I created. I recorded the action several times with the preset I saved, but then I run the action and it automatically picks the default setting.

Please anyone help me!!!

Image Trace reverts to the last setting, even if you create a preset.

You should be able to make a a script though

Adobe Bridge has an Image Trace script in the Tools menu.

It allows you to select multiple images and trace them in Illustrator.

You can select your preset and a folder to save the traced files.

Unfortunately it does not Expand the traced images.

You may create an Action to Batch open these files and expand them.
