Add a logo image to a customized menu item

I have created a new customized menu item 'Export' in adobe illustrator CS6.

What I want to know is that is it possible to add a small logo along side the text 'Export' on that menu item in adobe illustrator CS6 like the one below next to Open , Print etc.

Not through the SDK. You might be able to hack one in by using platform-specific menu calls, but I don't believe the SDK has anything to help you map their menuitem handles onto system menu handles.
