I added a material, but would like it to be on all the letters not just one of them (if I move it will go onto others but never on all the letters not distorted (I tried rotating) on sides only (think I can handle this with a duplicate on top and removing extrusion and material, wondering if a better way exists.

You can apply several materials to one object, so that would be needed for applying to all the letters. Just apply the material again.

Undistorted is not possible in 3D & materials

On the side only is also not possible.

The first of your points is no different in 3D classic

the other 2 work better there. Although #3 still being tedious.

Thanks for the reply, guess what I am asking for is not possible. I would be happy to just get red & white stripes that are not distorted like a zebra pattern, but straight or angled stripes like a candy cane..

Anyone else have any suggestions?
