Adding depth lines to text in Illustrator

New Here ,
Sep 01, 2023 Sep 01, 2023

Is there an easy way to add depth/reflective lines on top of and beside text? I'm not sure what it's called.  It's not a shadow and it's not 3D depth. It's the lighter red lines layered on top of the letter and the dark blue/black lines like a shadow to the right of the letter in the attached picture. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You're welcome!

You might experiment a little with the technique, such as add some scaling to the invisible copy.
