adobe acrobate help

Hello, I have saved a file from illustrator as a pdf to be opened with adobe acrobat, however, it is giving me a prompt that I must go back into illustrator and click " create pdf compatible file" however this option is already selected. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello everyone, I actually uninstalled my acrobat and reinstalled and now it's working. I have no clue why it glitched up.
