Adobe Color Themes "Click to set active color" popup

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the "Click to set active color" message that pops up when you hover over a color in the Color Themes panel?

I couldn't tell you how many times I've tried clicking a color, only to find that I'm clicking a popup, and then I have to move around it to finally click my color. One of those minor annoyances that happens often enough that it's worth searching for a solution. Thanks!

I think it is a problem with the Color Themes extension, it behaves like that in other applications too.
