I'm absolutely over fonts not loading after restarting my computer. This happens every single time I restart my computer or Illustrator. It only happens with Adobe fonts (Montserrat, Europa., etc). I've gone into cloud to check my fonts and they are not there. It takes me going in and out 10+ times to get the fonts to sync and show up without error. Any tips? This is absolutely riduclous.

That definitely sounds frustrating, and I'm really sorry you're having to deal with this every time you restart.
To better understand what's going wrong, could you let us know the version of Illustrator you're using and your operating system details? Also, are you seeing any specific error messages when the fonts fail to load, or do they simply not appear? Also, is this limited to Illustrator or can see in other Creative Cloud apps like InDesign, etc?
Please try sigining out and back in to the Creative Cloud Desktop app and then test the issue. Also, if the issue persists, please reset the font cache following this link and update if it resolves the issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-illustrator-indesign.html
Looking forward to your update.

hank you! Using a PC, windows 11. Illustrator version 29.5.1.
The fonts simply do not appear. They show up as the pink type error and do not appear in the list of fonts.
It only happens after restarting my computer so I'll try resetting the font cache next time. Signing in and out hasn't worked before. Will let you know here.

Thank you for sharing the information. Please let us know if it works after resetting the font cache. Please also tell us if the issue appears only with the Illustrator app or with any other Adobe app like Photoshop or InDesign. We look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Harshika

Having trouble resetting my cache so no, it is not working yet. My LocalService folder will not open.

This needs to be fixed. I'm on my 10th restart and fonts still will not show up.

Here's a perfect example. Showing up just fine in the CC app, but not working in the Illustrator application.

Thanks for hanging in there, and I totally understand how frustrating this must be, especially after so many restarts with no improvement.
Just to confirm, are you unable to navigate to this location on your PC: C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local? If that's the case, please avoid copying and pasting the full path directly. Instead, try manually navigating to it step by step. Start from the C drive, open the Windows folder, then the ServiceProfiles folder, followed by LocalService, and so on until you reach the Local folder.
Once you're there, see if you're able to follow the steps to reset the font cache and let me know if that helps get the fonts working again.
Also, could you confirm if this issue is limited only to Illustrator or are you noticing it in other apps like InDesign or Photoshop as well?
Looking forward to your update.

Yes, I can navigate up to here. C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles
The LocalService folder will NOT open. My window says it has 0 files in it.
The font doesn't work across all apps, not just AI. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

After doing this, my fonts are working properly but I've run into many other issues. Color profiles, export settings, all messed up. Is there a way for me to access the settings I used BEFORE I ran the cleaner tool? Perhaps the log? I do not know how to do any of that.

Hello @brittneyv20955540,
Could you confirm if you uninstalled all apps when using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool?
Also, check if your Illustrator preferences are still available in this location: (https://adobe.ly/4lhbpbP).
If the problem persists, please provide more information about the exact settings you are trying to locate, along with screenshots, so I can better assist you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
